In our lives, each and every one of us has the opportunity to be a hero to someone else. Despite often not seeing ourselves in this light, this is a remarkable way to make a difference on the world around us. We often believe that if we can achieve the next thing: the promotion, the raise, the title – we can start to become a difference maker. The reality of our situation is that we can begin to be a hero to someone right now from the place in which we stand.
- Success and Significance are Two Sides of the Same Coin
We all want to do well. But as we grow into our lives and careers it’s crucially important that we remember to do good. We can be successful in our businesses and careers, but if we don’t take those opportunities to positively impact those around us, we can squander the influence that we build as our success grows. When you can grow in significance, your success grows alongside.

Your passions are a gift, and they are not given without great care. When you allow yourself to be guided by your passions, your work becomes a service to the world. Truett Cathy would often speak on the idea that being guided by a passion can lead to you never work a day in your life, but have an incredibly meaningful business career.
