Shane is a Launch Youniversity pioneer whose first experience with entrepreneurship started with owning and operating Chick-fil-A stores in California and North Carolina. His passion for serving others led to his current position as Vice President of Organizational Planning and Operator Support with the company in Atlanta, Georgia.
When he is away from work, he enjoys training for marathons and triathlons, and he recently completed the Disney Dopey Race, a competition that consisted of a 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon. Since then, Shane has renamed the event the “Dumbo” because he vows to never do it again.
Shane aspires to be a gentleman farmer one day and wants to own babydoll sheep, rabbits, chickens, cats, and dogs.
He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Gina, for 25 years, and they have four children, three boys and a girl. Shane jokes that he got on his knees and prayed for the little girl so that someone in his family wouldn’t forget his birthday.
